22 Years on the Tools,
Run by the Engineer
Who Turns Up at Your Door
FHP Heating exists so that Essex households and businesses can get heating, hot water and air conditioning sorted without chasing engineers, guessing at prices or wondering whether the work was done properly. Dean Sone scopes the job, agrees the number up front, and puts his name to the result.

Founded after 22 years
of doing the work himself
FHP Heating Limited was founded by Dean Sone and operates from 116 Lampits Hill, Corringham, SS17 9AH.
Dean spent 22 years in heating and plumbing before starting FHP Heating — years of boiler breakdowns on freezing January mornings, landlord certificates that had to be right first time, and full system installs where the difference between a good job and a bad one only shows up two winters later. That experience shaped a simple decision: run the business the way customers keep saying they wish it worked.
We help homeowners who need heat and hot water back today, landlords and letting agents who need compliant paperwork on schedule, and commercial customers who cannot afford a cold or overheating premises. The specialism is the whole system — gas appliances, boilers, central heating, unvented hot water and F-Gas registered air conditioning — rather than one narrow slice of it, which means one engineer can diagnose a fault that crosses boundaries instead of three trades pointing at each other.
Work is carried out daily across Brentwood, Billericay, Corringham, Chelmsford, Rayleigh, Benfleet, Leigh-on-Sea, Hadleigh, Basildon, plus the surrounding Essex towns and villages. Being locally based matters when a boiler locks out at 6am — the van is already in the county rather than an hour up the A13.
Take the unknowns out
of getting a heating job done
Most of the stress around a heating job comes from not knowing: not knowing what is wrong, not knowing whether anyone will turn up, and not knowing the number until the invoice arrives. These are the standards that remove each of those unknowns.
Gas Safe registered work, no exceptions
Every gas appliance, pipe run and flue is worked on under Gas Safe registration number 6075146. G3 unvented cylinder and Water Regulations qualifications cover hot water storage, and air conditioning is carried out under F-Gas registration.
The price is agreed before the work starts
There is a call-out and first-hour assessment fee so the fault can be scoped properly. After that a fixed price is agreed in writing before any spanner is picked up, so the invoice matches the conversation.
Diagnosis before parts
Swapping components until the fault disappears is expensive for you and lazy engineering. Faults are traced to their cause — pressure, flow, gas rate, combustion, controls — and then fixed once.
Guaranteed and insured
Every completed job carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee. New boilers additionally carry a 5, 7 or 10-year manufacturer warranty depending on the model installed. £2 million public liability insurance is in place for domestic and commercial work.
