A multi-split system connects two or more indoor units to a single outdoor condenser, which suits a house or flat needing cooling in several rooms without cluttering the exterior wall with multiple outdoor units, and lets each room be controlled independently.

Ducted systems hide the indoor unit above a ceiling and distribute air through discreet grilles, which suits open-plan living spaces and commercial fit-outs where wall-mounted units are impractical or visually unacceptable. Filters, coil cleaning and F-Gas leak checks
