Privacy Policy
How FHP Heating Limited handles the information you share when you enquire about or book work.
Who we are
FHP Heating Limited, 116 Lampits Hill, Corringham, Essex, SS17 9AH. You can contact us on 07534 068551 or at fhpheating@gmail.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, call or email us, we collect the details you choose to give: typically your name, phone number, email address, property postcode and a description of the work required. When we carry out work we also keep job records such as appliance details, findings, work performed, certificates issued and invoices.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange an assessment or appointment.
- To quote, carry out and invoice the work you ask us to do.
- To issue and retain safety documentation such as Gas Safety Records (CP12).
- To honour the 12-month workmanship guarantee and any manufacturer warranty registration.
- To meet legal, safety and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one), our legitimate interest in running and defending the business, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where necessary: with boiler manufacturers to register warranties, with the Gas Safe Register and Building Control where notification is required, with our accountant and insurers, and with service providers who host our website, email and job records on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Job records, certificates and invoices are kept for as long as required for warranty, safety and tax purposes, and then deleted or securely destroyed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and website data
This website uses only the cookies and storage needed for it to work correctly and, where enabled, basic analytics to understand which pages people find useful. The contact page embeds a Google map, which is served by Google and subject to Google’s own privacy terms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The current version always appears on this page.
